Trip Itineraries
Yukon-Pelly
This trip truly captures the adventure, beauty and spirit of Yukon wilderness travel. The rivers are all grade 1 (no rapids) and there are no portages!
Day 1
Meet at Whitehorse Airport at 9:00 A.M., and travel to Pelly Crossing for the official launch of the trip. We camp on the Pelly River.
Day 2
Visit the Pelly Farm and then canoe to the Yukon River and camp at Fort Selkirk
Day 3
Spend the day sightseeing and photographing at Fort Selkirk, originally founded by Robert Campbell of the Hudson's Bay Co. in 1848. Selkirk was the sight of a town in the gold rush, as the Canadian government sent a company of the Yukon Field Force to join the RCMP there. The remains of the settlement make for an interesting day.
Day 4-8
Canoe the Yukon River. We should arrive in Dawson in the late afternoon of day 8, depending on the pace of the trip.

Day 9
Explore Dawson City. We will be staying at the White Ram B&B in Dawson City (the cost of which is covered in the trip price). Your breakfasts will be paid for but you will be responsible for your other meals. There are cooking facilities at the White Ram.
